What is an Audiologist?

Heading up our hearing services at Associates in Ear, Nose and Throat is a great team of audiologists.  They are important people, but you might not have ever heard of one.

An audiologist is a professional that holds a degree from an accredited university.  An audiologist has trained in the identification and assessment of hearing disorders.  An audiologist is required to complete a full-time internship and then pass a national competency test.  The level of education and testing the audiologists receive makes them some of the most qualified people to perform your hearing test.  They can refer patients for medical evaluations by one of our physicians and help provide rehabilitation for our hearing disorder patients.

We would like for you to choose our office for hearing services.  If you choose not to use our facility, we highly recommend that you use a facility that has qualified, certified audiologists.  Your hearing is too important not to.

If you would like to make an appointment with one of our audiologists, call (423) 209-9111.
